A video of IEEE and IEEE day celebrations around the globe was played and general information about IEEE and various ways to be informed about events was explained to the audience. A brief introduction was also given about upcoming key IEEE events, including IEEEXtreme and IEEE Smart Tech Workshop, Bangalore.

Faculty present included Branch Counsellor, Suma M N, Branch Mentor, K P Lakshmi, ex-Branch Counsellor, P Meena and HoD of Medical Electronics Suma H N representing EMBS society.

They were invited to participate in the cake cutting, which marked the start of IEEE day celebrations. A very brief speech by our Branch Counsellor followed.

Murder Mystery
After this we killed off our Chairman Rahul (not really) and kicked off the treasure hunt. Spanning a time period of 2 hours and 9 locations in various parts of the campus, it was a fun event for both the organizers and participants. We thank all the volunteers who made this happen.

After a couple of hours of frantic running around and puzzle solving, we had our winners.
