Talk on Neuro Linguistic Programming

BMSCE IEEE conducted a talk on Neuro Linguistic Programming(NLP) on 19th March 2018. The 3 hour long talk was held in Library Auditorium and the timings were from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The details of the talk was sent across the mass through Social Media. It was free entry for all i.e. IEEE as well as NON-IEEE Members. The total number of attendees were 52 out which 36 were IEEE members and 16 were NON-IEEE Members. We also had professors of MBA department who were an active part of the event. Refreshments and Certificates were provided to every person who attended the talk.

We were enlightened to have amongst us Mr. Ramani Venkat, one of the most renowned speakers for NLP. With having given speeches to over 45 colleges and international events, his experience is worth paising. He has an extremely strong hold over delivering influential speech and consequently changing lives. Dr. Ramani Venkat started the talk with introducing himself and giving a brief explanation about what Neuro Linguistic Programing really is, how it is useful in our day to day life and how we can excel implementing NLP. Then he played some games with us which helped us understand how our brain functions and how it deceives us. We learnt the art to persuade others. The fact that we can make anyone succumb to our wants if we put ourselves in other person’s shoe and for some time let our thoughts function like the person in front.

Then he went ahead and taught us how to master our subconscious mind, why we do what we do and how our thoughts are the result of our actions. He also told us about the law of attraction, the fact that it truly exists and if we want something strongly enough we will strive to get it and achieve it in the end. He concluded by telling us the importance of NLP.

So, what started out with a wanton curiosity as to how geniuses performed their magic, has now grown into an international field of NLP Trainers, Practitioners and people excelling as a result of applying Neuro Linguistic Programming in their professional and personal lives.
