Raspberry Rover Workshop

Raspberry Rover Workshop was organised by BMSCE IEEE as part of PhaseShift, the national annual technical symposium of BMSCE. The workshop was conducted on the 16th of September, 2018 in the ML 5001 classroom in the PG Block. The duration of the workshop was 4 hours from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm.

The workshop witnessed a participation of 52, 40 IEEE members and 12 Non-IEEE Members. It was publicised through social media platforms, posters and campaigning. Mr. Mohammed Arfan, a 4th year EEE student, was the resource person for the workshop. He heads his start-up, B-Automate, that deals with upcoming hardware technological trends.

Participants were divided into teams and each team worked on Pi’s. They were preinstalled with programming software. Participants had to write programs to execute various computing operations on the Pi. At the end of the workshop, participants were successfully able to program the Pi and use it for various operations.
